- satan believes in God, so just believeing that God exists isn’t enough either.
- Being a good person is very commendable, but the bible says ‘your good deeds are like filthy rags’, so this isn’t enough either.
- Doing your best, still comes up short of God’s requirement to get into heaven.

Dear Father God in Heaven,
I have made a bit of a mess of my life, I would love to have a fresh start in life, please forgive me for all the things I have done wrong in my life, I have sinned against You and need Your forgiveness. I forgive all the people that have caused me harm and those that have disappointed me, I release them from my judgement. Thank you for sending Your only Son to die a cruel death on a cross for all my mistakes, his sacrifice has paid the price of my sin. I believe He rose from the dead to demonstrate that we can have life if we put our trust in Him.
I receive Your forgiveness and from this day forward I will follow You, I will read your bible and learn more about You eahch day. Lead me to a Holy Spirit filled Christian fellowship, so I can be encouraged and meet sincere other believers.
I ask this in the name of Your Son Jesus the Christ (Hebrew name Yeshua Hamasiach) Amen.
